Hyderabad: In a significant and reassuring development for lakhs of students and parents across Telangana, Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, Chairman of the Telangana Council of Higher Education, has strongly assured that the ongoing 2026 Telangana Entrance Examinations are being conducted with the highest standards of transparency, security, and accountability.

The assurance came during an interaction with representatives of the United Voters Social Foundation, a National Civic & Democratic Institution, which submitted a detailed representation seeking clarity on examination security measures and prevention of paper leak incidents. The Foundation highlighted concerns arising from recent national-level examination controversies in India and urged the Telangana Government to adopt robust preventive systems to protect the future of students.

Responding positively to the representation, Prof. V. Balakista Reddy reportedly assured students, parents, and civil society organizations that the Telangana Council of Higher Education has already initiated multiple strong measures to ensure the integrity and credibility of all entrance examinations scheduled for 2026.

According to sources, the Chairman emphasized that the Council is fully committed to conducting fair, transparent, and secure examinations without any compromise. He assured that advanced monitoring systems, strict confidentiality protocols, coordinated administrative mechanisms, and modern technological safeguards are being strengthened to eliminate any possibility of malpractice or paper leakage.

The Chairman also appealed to students not to panic due to incidents that occurred elsewhere in the country and encouraged them to focus confidently on their preparation. He reportedly stated that Telangana is committed to becoming a model state in conducting secure and student-friendly entrance examinations.

“The future of students is our highest priority. Students and parents should not worry about examination paper leaks. The Telangana Council of Higher Education is taking all necessary precautions to ensure smooth, fair, and transparent examinations,” Prof. Balakista Reddy chairman assured.

The United Voters Social Foundation appreciated the positive response from the Chairman and welcomed the proactive approach being taken by the Telangana Council of Higher Education and the Government of Telangana. The Foundation stated that transparency, accountability, and institutional responsibility are essential to maintaining public confidence in the education system.

The Foundation further noted that the Chairman had given a strong assurance that no examination malpractice would be tolerated during his tenure and that strict action would be taken against any individual or network attempting to compromise the sanctity of examinations.
