Hyderabad, Telangana: United Voters Social Foundation, a National Civic & Democratic Institution, conducted a “Truth About Drugs” awareness programme at Mahesh Vidya Bhavan School, Hyderabad, with the objective of educating students about the dangers of drug abuse and encouraging them to make healthy and responsible life choices. More than 150+ students from 7th to 10th classes participated in the awareness programme. As part of the initiative, the Foundation distributed “Truth About Drugs” booklets to students, helping them understand the risks, harmful consequences, and preventive measures associated with drug abuse.

“Today we learnt the truth about drugs. It can destroy our future. We will stay away from them and also spread awareness to our friends and family.”
The programme emphasized that awareness, education, and timely guidance can play an important role in protecting young people from substance abuse and building a healthier and safer society.
The programme was attended by Foundation members Dilip, David and Santhosh, along with School Principal LV Ranga Reddy, Vice Principal Srinivas, Traffic Addl Inspector K Bhaskar, and school staff members.
